On campus

The Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences presents a wealth of cultural events that highlight talented students:

  • From student recitals to the Fayetteville Sonic Arts Festival, the music department presents numerous concerts, most of them free, in the Stella Boyle Smith Concert Hall.

  • Check out the drama department's current season.

  • The art deparments  mounts 8 - 10 exhibitions each year in the Fine Arts Center Gallery. Admission is free.

Near campus

  • The Walton Arts Center brings Broadway musicals, ballet, modern dance and national performers to nearby Dickson Street.

  • Theatre Squared is a regional professional company that produces plays for both youth and adult audiences  — including original new works by playwright-in-residence Robert Ford.
  • Founded in 1954, the North Arkansas Symphony offers an active program of classical music.

  • Art Amiss is an artists' collective that supports emerging artists. Their events are awesome, and the art is affordable.

Coming soon

The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville will feature a world-class collection of art. Currently under construction, the new museum is scheduled to open in 2010.
