How do I get started?

We make it easy:

Apply to the University of Arkansas. On the admissions form designate architecture, interior design or landscape architecture as your intended major. For more information, visit the admissions web site. Deadline for placement consideration in the fall studio is November 15th. Applicants will not be guaranteed a spot in the fall design studio if the application is received after this date or after studio spots are filled.
Intent to Attend Forms will be sent to all applicants with a return deadline of March 1st.
Visit us! If you haven’t already toured the School of Architecture, call us at 479/575-2399 to schedule a visit. It’s the best way to get a feel for the program, people and place. We’re available for tours year around.

Students will be notified about studio placement during New Student Orientation in June and August.

These are minimum qualifications to be considered for the fall architecture* studio:

Have an ACT score of 25 or above (or the equivalent SAT score)
Have a high school grade point average of 3.5 or above
Have completed an upper level math course and physics course in high school

*These requirements do not apply to the interior design or landscape architecture programs.
